Public Works operates a Recycling Drop-Off Center that is free to all City garbage/recycling customers. Residents should be able to produce the blue City of Marion Recycling & Yard Waste User Identification Card upon request.

Tuesdays: Noon - 5:45 p.m.  
Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Items accepted at the facility include:

• all acceptable single stream recycling items 
• glass 
• bulk cardboard
• scrap metal
• used metal garbage cans

Oversized plastics are NOT accepted.

Linn County residents can also access the Cedar Rapids Linn County Solid Waste Agency's landfill and recycling facility. The facility is located north of Marion.
