Purpose:
The Construction Code Review Board, also known as the Board of Appeals, is in place to hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the Building Official relative to the application and interpretation of the Construction Codes.
About the Board:
The Construction Code Review Board is an 11-member board made up of two general contractors, five tradesman from the construction trades, two licensed construction trade professionals and two residents of Marion.

Meetings:
The Construction Code Review Board meetings are held at Marion City Hall, 1225 6th Ave. in Marion, on the 4th Tuesday of the month, at 6:00 p.m., unless there are no appeals or business on file for a hearing. Contact the Building Services office to find out more about the appeals process and meeting dates.
