Uptown Marion will come alive with Halloween fun on Saturday, Oct. 25, as two free community events fill the district with costumes and creativity. Families can enjoy the Marion Monster Mash in City Square followed by the Uptown Marion Spooktacular dining event at participating restaurants.

Earlier this week, the Engineering Division completed their move from Marion City Hall to the new Marion Public Works facility at 202 44th Street so that all team members are based out of one location.

On Monday, Sept. 22, construction crews will close the Boyson Trail north of Marion Boulevard at the Milwaukee Road Bridge to the pedestrian bridge in Donnelly Park for trail improvements. The improvements include streambank stabilization, culvert replacement and paving the existing granular trail.
