Community-wide trick-or-treating in Marion takes place on Halloween. There is no set start time but trick-or-treating should conclude by 8 p.m. Participating residents should turn on their porch lights when they are ready to greet trick-or-treaters and turn them off when finished.

The Falliday Market, hosted by the Marion Parks and Recreation Department, returns to the Lowe Park Arts & Environment Center (4500 N 10th Street, Marion, IA 52302) on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024. Doors open at 9 a.m. and the market will go until 2 p.m.
