The Marion Farmers Market reopens for the season on Saturday, May 3, at Willowood Park, 1855 35th Street, Marion. The market will be open every Saturday from 8-11 a.m. through Sept. 27, 2025. In addition, Marion City Council members will hold their weekly office hours at the market.

Flushing hydrants is an important preventive maintenance activity that verifies proper operation of the City’s fire hydrants and ensures adequate water flow will be available if the need for firefighting arises. Flushing also removes sediment that naturally accumulates in water mains.
