On Wednesday, July 3, Marion will host its 6th annual Fireworks & Fireflies celebration. This free event will take place at the Klopfenstein Amphitheater at Lowe Park beginning at 6 p.m.

Pop-Up Acts in the Artway Return to Uptown Marion this Summer
Enjoy free live music, thanks to sponsors Iowa Appliance Center and Affordable Heating and Cooling, in the Uptown Artway or on the patio of a nearby business. The performances will be held on Fridays in June, July and August from 6-8 p.m.

City Offices to Close in Observance of Memorial Day; Pool and Splash Pads to Open

Marion Arts Festival, Races and Other Events Happening This Weekend; Anticipate Road Closures
Localized road closures will be in place to accommodate the festival and races. Additionally, an asphalt overlay project is currently underway on 8th Avenue between 6th and 10th Streets, and westbound traffic is detoured.

Marion Announces 2025 Moonlit Movie Series at Lowe Park
Inflatables will be available each evening starting at 7 p.m. and face painting will be offered for a fee. The feature presentation will begin around 8:30 p.m.

Great American Kites Returns to the Lowe Park Ball Diamonds on May 17
The come-and-go event features displays that provide lasting memories for attendees of all ages. Kites will be available for purchase. Face painting will also be available.
