Fireworks & Fireflies sponsored by Conlon Construction In 2025, Fireworks & Fireflies will take place on Thursday, July 3 at the beautiful Klopfenstein Amphitheater at Lowe Park. The lots will open at 4:30 p.m., the fun begins at 6 p.m. leading up to the fireworks at dusk. Music by the Ice Breakers begins at 7 p.m.

Where can I park?

This is the largest event held at Lowe Park and carpooling is strongly encouraged. Planning for plenty of time both when arriving and leaving is helpful. It might take as long as one hour to exit after the event.

Both parking lots at Lowe Park (accessed via N. 10th Street and Irish Drive) open at 4:30 p.m.

The following parking locations are available:

The Linn-Mar High School Parking lot. Two accessible shuttles will continuously.
The grass at Lowe Park. (The hard surface is reserved for accessible parking and sponsors.)*
The Irish Drive lot
The Inclusive Playground lot
Oak Ridge Middle School
Echo Hill Elementary School
Hazel Point Intermediate School

When exiting the event after the fireworks, please note that all traffic will be directed to go North on 10th or straight on Connection Ave (no right turn on 10th.). All patrons exiting the Irish Drive lot will be directed to turn right on Tower Terrace Road.

*If you require an accessible spot or have been provided a parking pass, please pull up to the N. 10th Street entrance at Lowe Park and let the parking staff know.

Is there on-street parking?

Please obey posted signage to help ensure a safe experience for all attendees. Parking along 10th Street and Connection Avenue will be limited to one side of the street.

Many of the lots identified for overflow parking are ideal for watching the fireworks show. Feel free to watch from these locations, plus the PeeWee Diamonds off of Irish Drive. Please note, no alcohol or tobacco products are permitted on school property. There will not be overflow restrooms in the school lots.

Music, food vendors and restrooms will all be available at the Klopfenstein Amphitheater. A kids zone, restrooms and select food vendors will also be located at the PeeWee Diamonds.
