With the upcoming Rose Bowl, the Marion Police Department is asking people to be cautious in purchasing tickets to the game from private parties via Craigslist or other web sites. Marion P.D. took a report today of a person driving a white Hyundai Sonata with state of Washington license plates selling fraudulent tickets to the game. Other law enforcement agencies have also reported similar scams involving fake Rose Bowl tickets.
