Enjoy free live music in the Uptown Artway or from the patio of a nearby business on select Fridays this summer and fall. The City of Marion will host “Pop-Up Acts in the Artway” from 5-7 p.m. on a series of Friday evenings.

The Uptown Artway is located between 10th and 11th Streets and 7th and 8th Avenues in Uptown Marion.

The event series began in July and has featured a variety of local acts. Upcoming performers include:

Aug. 27 - Ace Jones

Sept. 17 - Billy Heller

Sept. 24 - Matt Gogel
